Version 1.1 is out!
Version 1.1 brings a new update to the backend API. The only change you’ll probably notice will be the slight change with the visuals of the ‘Sync’ tab. It now has estimated time remaining shown.
The next update, v1.2, will have a large part of Toolbox’s code rewritted and have several changes including enabling of the ‘Rollcall’ tab, as well as optional client side mods (such as: JSRS, SOS, BC).
If you have any issues or crashes please let
C.Yirri know, either on the forums (via PM) or Teamspeak.
Installation & First Run: Download the 1st RAR Toolbox.exe here. Run the file, it will ask if you want a shortcut placed on your desktop and the theme (can be changed later, under settings). The first time Toolbox is run you’ll need to enter your forum login details (error: unauthorised? see note 1), or each time if you choose to not let it remember them. (see note 2 for how it saves them) Click on the Mod Sync tab, then the Sync Mods button. Toolbox will ask you to select your ArmA 3 game folder. ( Default location: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\Common\ArmA 3\ ) Once you’ve selected the ArmA 3 folder it will download the latest mod list, check your mods, download any missing mods or files and remove any extra files. (Toolbox only checks the 1stRAR folder in your ArmA 3 game folder, it will NOT delete anything outside of this folder.)
Notes Related to step 3: If you get are getting a login error “Unauthorised.” You’ll need to tell someone with the S-4 tag ( ) on Teamspeak. Related to step 3: Toolbox uses your operating system’s encryption system to protect your login details, and can only be decrypted by the current version of Toolbox and only on your user account. So only someone with access to your computer’s account can login with your saved details. Change Log v1.1.6704.39079 (20/05/2018) Removed: Unneeded debug code.
